just got back from my awefully 'fun' vacation with my family.
malaysia.
'truly asia'.
alright.
started at kuantan.
a sleepy drive of 7 hours or so.
took the backroads so it felt longer.
one laner and no toll counters.
more stops and animals to look at.
so that's about it.
i guess three quarts of the journey, i was just sleeping and listening to my mp3 that was replaying a zillion times.
it's amazing how you see animals out of no where.
goats. cows. cats. dogs.
weird fusion.
but anyhow we spent only a night at kuantan.
pretty alright for a resort and the beach was fantastic.
smooth sand and low tides.
not too crystal clear but really much prettier than what you'll get in singapore.
had a massage and damn was it just relaxing.
uplifts and rejuvanates and muscle toner.
lasted a good hour and a half.
moving on.
next day we headed a two hour drive to kuala lumpur.
alas, some life.
singapore better watch it's back.
kl's becoming more lifely.
shopping and even clubbing areas are getting few steps higher.
also, their clubs are pretty hip and zouks opening in m'sia.
how odd is that.
well.
did a bit of shopping and headed back to our executive apartment.
toilet view was zoinky.
petronas towers.
the highest building in the world.
not bad.
at night, we took a slow drive to time square.
supposedly a new mall they built.
now this is something not to miss.
there's an indoor theme park in it.
and i mean THEME park.
it's totally large and in built inside the mall.
it cost us 20 riggit, 10 sing dollars, to get in for unlimited rides.
rollercoastes, g-forces and all sorts.
i reckon you go there.
it was just wholly molly.
large rollercoasters that actually go 360 degrees round.
wow isn't it.
and at the same time, my sis and i made friends with the ride
operater.
twenty year old.
i wouldn't say UGLY.
looked like sher.
[kloots would know who sher ikbal is right]
totally friendly and outgoing.
yupps.
returned after two hours of good fun.
. . . and so.
stayed there for two nights and drove towards melaka.
yesyes, ghost town.
it's totally quiet and we kept going in circles finding our hotel.
felt homesick toos.
totally the hotel was freaky.
had a victorian layout.
like a fullerton/raffles hotel fusion but in a weird background.
felt so ghostly.
sissyly, i was scared to bathe or walk to the next room to my mum.
harhar.
anyways enough of m'sia.
home is where i'd wanna be and no where else.
now i'm off to get my much lost sleep.
ta!
