i had my first driving lesson today.
since i'm not currently of the illegal age for driving but, turning 18 in exactly a month from now, i decided i might prepare earlier.
daddy brought me out to teach me the basics of driving.
this would make it much more easier when i officially and legally learn through the driving centres.
i had the seat to myself and everything was in my control.
we headed to tuas to drive around since it's filled with only a few vehicles which included large trucks.
it was pretty complicating at first because he would revise with me what to do and what to look out for and after which, i was on my own.
since it was a manual car, there was so much to do at a time that it makes it all so difficult to work quickly.
i had to stay clear from the gigantic oncoming vehicles and squeezy motorcyclist, watch the red lights and be sure of what i was doing in the car.
just to start the car, it was a hassle.
clutch and shifting the gear to one and whilst releasing the clutch slowly, introduce the acceleration slowly and move.
i could hardly fathom all the directions.
but soon, after big rounds of practicising, it became so simple and the norm.
it felt like A B C.
i can't wait for more lessons to come or even better, to get my license.
i'd be able to pull away from public transportations.
all i've left is more and more and more practice and the basic theory and how to park and i'll be your driver.
i'll get myself a black and white or pink mini cooper and be on my way : )))

hip-hip-car-ray!

We, girls on a mission!

9:37:00 PM

her point of view;

the reason to me blogging on an odd day is because of the sheer boredom.
i've several unrelated topics i can talk about.
each in a paragraph, respectively.

STRESS.
the o'levels are very around the corner, very.
the english orals are due monday.
the mugging has not begun, even though you've heard me repeat myself time and time that i would start.
i have not done any revision whatsoever.
what's better, i did not go to school today.
(i missed my social studies mocks)
instead of being focused, i'm running backwards.
the preliminary examinations are two weeks away?
we've even taken our graduation photoshoot (all dressed in white).
the irony.

FUN.
then there's the 'on-a-much-lighter-note'.
i cannot wait for this friday and saturday.
both are filled with meet-ups and movies and birthdays.
it's to tapas with jol, accompanied by the live band while we eat by the river.
and on saturday, it's with the juniors for a movie (charlie and the chocolate factory or the maid?).
in the mid-afternoon, it's danica's, shu yu's and maysi's birthday lunch.
in the evening, it's my all favourite, deedee's dinner and it's party time.
HOOHA.

i've so much to look forward to.
be it, stress or the funness.
i think, i will mug now.

(graduation pictures will be up later in the afternoon)

there are many things a girl can't wait for.
it could be a pair of pretty shoes on the rack that she'll buy over the weekend, an opportunity to dress to kill, her prom night, love and then marriage.
(there are probably the inbetweens which i missed out on)
obviously, every girl awaits the day of her marriage.
it's tears and joy when you walk down the aisle in the most glamourous, undescribable gown snapped of the rack before any happy bride gets it.
you're on your way (choose your destination) for your honeymoon and before you know it, you're on the plane home, PREGNANT.
i swear on all my pink and black knickers, the news is as good as digging the sand in your backyard and finding gold.
(i had no way else to put it, mind me)
i've decided that i will have four children, two boys and two girls.
in order of sequence, boy first, girl second, boy third and a girl for the last.
(oldest to youngest, respectively)
earlier on in the afternoon, i was at a hospital.
out of sheer boredom, i visited the nursery.
(not where you'd leave your hyper kids but the one where babies are left after they're born)
you could stay there for hours in smiles, just staring at the newborns wrapped in pink and blue.
(if it weren't for the nurses along side doing the paper work, i'd steal a baby)
adorable they were, with a full head of hair.
OH, THE JOY : )))
in conclusion, i want a baby right now.
i don't want to have to study all day and all night.
i'd rather have my tummy the size of all the ten year series lying on the table.

"DIAMONDS AND BABIES AND CARS."

to me, pictures speak louder than words.
(midnight works on the 8th of august - 9th of august)

this years' national day is by far the best, compared to previous years where i stay home and pretend to be happy.
after counting, i've seen the fireworks three times.
besides the whole firework encounter, i finally met up with joljoljol.
i have been dying to be held in her clutches and in the warmth of her heart, HAHA.
(private joke)
so we spent our evening well with kenny rogers and pulling through the rats and a long bus ride home togets.
when will i see you again?
moving to the grossest, the esplanade was a cross between a riot and a sewer full of rats.
the stench of human was ghastly and the crowd was going haywire.
apart from all the negative, i caught the fireworks right above me.
what could get any better?
greens and reds and golds and pinks and purples and every colour possible.
(pppuuuuuuuuuuiiiii pppppppppuuuuuuuuuuuuiiiiiiiiiiiii pppppuuuuuuiiii)
specfuckingtacular!
my national day was a blast.

now it's off to do some 'practice-makes-perfect' math and uncompleted english assignments, dress-up sessions for this saturdays graduation photoshoot and phone plans for sheesha on friday evening :)))))))))))

i might only update over the weekends.
seems like everything is rushing.
be it days, be it the months, be it my birthday, be it the dreaded assignments and revisions, be it the preliminary examinations, be it the graduation photoshoot and be it everything that seems like it's rushing for the o'levels to come.
this week will be short and long, the irony.
talking about mugging, my schedule is not being followed.
i find other means to run away from what's so important.
this includes my wonder one-week medical leave from school.
my math is at it's far worst and is followed by every other subject.
HOW AM I TO DO WELL, IF I WERE TO KEEP UP THIS TURTLE PACE?
let's divert to something a little more ecstatic, shopping.
i will be doing some retail therapy-ing over the 3 day holiday.
(one day is self-proclaimed)
the graduation photoshoot for the yearbook is this coming saturday and i am in need for a pair of white pants.
so it's shopping for neng, mun and i and whoever wants to put their names down on the list for the shopping trip on monday or tuesday.
hiphiphoofuckingray!
on the smaller, lighter updates, yesterday was dreaful.
our school held it's school large event of flag selling.
we were situated at chinatown and how wrong was that.
in my conclusion, old people are stingy whores.
they turn you away in the utmost rude way you can think of.
and i'm not even done with talking about a handful of middle aged working adults.
they refuse to donate due to the latest talk about the CEO of NKF earning a large proportion of donated money.
a man exclaimed: "i will not donate the money as it will go to the CEO and he would buy a mercedes."
here's a little fact for you, mister:
i'm under the national cancer society and not the national kidney foundation.
i am only a volunteer and not the CEO, so don't shove your bad mood at me.
and he isn't going to buy a mercedes, HAHA.
what a fuzzy logic.
anyhows, i'm far too drained to do anymore typing.
SO FAREWELL, MY READERS.

my driving license, i await you till the end of september.
